Sari Silk ribbon

'Sari silk ribbon' is a common term for off-cuts from the manufacturing of saris or up cycled strips from saris no longer wearable that have been given a second life and sewn or knotted together. These ribbons may contain cotton, silk or synthetics and will have gorgeous torn and frayed edges & varying widths that will add interesting texture to many a crafting project or handmade jewellery. They've been hand dyed with eco-friendly dyes and feature lighter and darker hues throughout each skein, so they're never a flat colour. Occasionally some sections contain the odd speck of another colour or even have embellishments or patterns from the saris themselves.

Some of the colour options are more varied than others which means that you are unlikely to see each shade in shorter lengths ordered.

Price is per meter and one unit may contain sewing joins or knots where individual strips have been added together.
