United States:
🇺🇸 Update - I have resumed shipping to the US, but it's not as straightforward as before.. Here's how it now works:
1) a US customer places an order and completes checkout
2) I will then calculate 10% of the order value (excluding shipping costs) and set up a custom listing for you for that amount = this is the customs import charge levied by the US government for importing goods into the US from the UK
3) I will email you a link to your custom listing and you will have to purchase it to cover the US import tax. Once paid I will start packing your order.
4) When I go to purchase the shipping label from Royal Mail I will submit that exact 10% to Royal Mail as part of the shipping label and Royal Mail will remit it to the US government.
5) Because the shipping label will clearly state that all import taxes have been paid your package will go through US customs without incurring any further cost or delay due to processing charges.
