RETURNS
I want all my wonderful customers to have a great shopping experience here at BluebellHillCrafts, and that means that handling returns & refunds is a really important part of managing your overall experience. I want the returns process to be as painless and stress free for you as possible in case you ordered something that isn't quite right for your needs, but there are a few things to consider which I've outlined below. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch - I'm always happy to help! Mira from BluebellHillCrafts
RETURNS
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulation of 2015 you have the right to return goods unused and in their original condition - sadly I must mention that this does not include items being returned smelling of smoke or with pet hairs on them as they are not deemed to be in a re-saleable condition and can therefore not be refunded.
You must get in touch with me within 14 days of receiving the goods and then you have another 14 days to return goods to me in the post. Please ensure you get proof of posting from the post office. Getting in touch prior to returning goods is really important so I can confirm the return address with you and give you customs declaration information in case of overseas returns as well as give you information on re-packaging the goods. For example, Liberty fabrics need to be returned in a sturdy postal box rather than a jiffy bag - either by re-using the box they came in or similar - to prevent them from getting creased or squashed in the post so they are returned in the same condition they were sent out in.
You may return whole orders or part of an order. All customers must cover the cost for the return unless items were found faulty or I made a mistake in which case I will be responsible for the return postage.
EU customers - If a whole order is returned within the stated time frame, then you are entitled to a full refund of the goods as well as the basic postage cost you initially paid. That means if you opted to upgrade the shipping service to a more expensive one then you would only get a refund for the basic shipping cost. If you decide, however, to return just part of an order, then you will be refunded for those items, but not the initial postage.
Your right to cancel an order for goods starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods.
Refunds are made back to your original payment source within 48hrs of receiving the goods back and then they may take some additional time to be processed by your credit card or bank before showing in your account. PayPal payments usually arrive within a few hours.
RETURNING FAULTY GOODS
I always check and tick off orders carefully before they go to the post office, but in the rare event that you should receive either the wrong or faulty goods please let me know straight away so I can rectify the situation. I may need you to send the items back to me (at my expense) so it is really important that you do not throw them away.
In case of faulty goods you have the same consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act as you have when buying in store.
